LNK-IMC306 Series is 6 ports 10/100Base-TX + 3 port 100Base-FX Hardened Ethernet fiber switch. The Industrial Fiber Switch has 6 TP ports and 3 fiber ports. TP (RJ45) support 10/100Base-T(X), Full/Half duplex mode, and auto MDI/MDI-X connection; 100Base-FX supports 1 or 2 core Single-mode or Multi-mode fiber.

KCA –
The purpose for which I’m using this switch doesn’t nearly use the full capabilities, but I suppose it works fine for my use-case. I have this switch installed in my garage, and feeding my six security cameras with PoE power. When ordering, I missed the fact that it has a maximum speed of 100Mb per line, but security cameras don’t really need more than that anyway, so it’s fine. Just keep that in mind if you were expecting faster transfer speeds. I’m supplying power to this using a din mounted dc power supply, and this works perfectly. Overall, this is a bit more expensive than I would normally pay for a 6-port PoE switch with separate SFP connections, but I am very glad that the switch is protected from lightning strikes.

I was glad to find this unmanaged switch, because I needed something to extend POE range for some security cameras and this solved that problem easily. I just connected the cables and power, and everything worked. It seems like a solidly constructed box, I think it will last me a long time. I’m sure this has lots of capabilities for network designers that is way above my head, but I’m glad to report that for my use, it was plug and play. I think it was a great find.
